Meat Works presents A Seasonal Beef Feast – an evening celebrating local food, farming and culinary craft
Friday 27th November at 7pm at the South Devon Food Hub
Hosted by Graham and Ruth Waddington, this evening long-table feast will celebrate high-welfare, sustainably reared native-breed beef from Tracey’s Farm, alongside ingredients from producers from the Hub, and across South Devon.
The evening will begin with Dartmoor Farmers’ bresaola canapés, Sharpham curd and gin-soaked prune, accompanied by a welcome snifter. This will be followed by Tracey’s Farm Aberdeen Angus gelée du bœuf terrine with pickled seasonal vegetables.
For the main course, centrepiece beef boards will feature sliced roast beef, boeuf bourguignon and mini braised-beef pies, served with local vegetables and Sharpham Rustic cauliflower cheese.
Next comes Sharpham cheeses with oat crackers and chutneys, and then dessert – honey, thyme and peach cheesecakes with Barbers chocolate. Finish the evening with Sanctuary coffee, Devonshire Tea Co. teas, Barbers cocoa or herbal teas.
Sandridge Barton wines, Bays Brewery beers, Orchard Cider and Luscombe soft drinks will also be available to buy from the bar.
